Russian Film Week arrives in Mexico

Russian Film Week returns to Mexico City two years after its first edition. Of the 21 al 28 June at 20:30 hrs, the Art Gallery of Cinépolis Plaza Carso will host a sample of the best of contemporary Russian cinema.

Russian cinema has been for many years a leader in this art. Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Mexico, Mr. Eduard Malayán, He noted that “in memory both lovers of Russian art, as Mexican art, arises the image of the great film director Sergei Eisenstein, who with his work Que Viva Mexico! Meanwhile, Producer Sergei Novozhilov, Artistic Director of the Days of Russian cinema in Mexico, considered a great success bringing Russian cinema one of the most amazing and beautiful cities of the world. “I'm sure anyone unfazed Festival program we prepared for you”. The selection is inclined to treat universal themes enrolled in the Russian reality.
